Step 1: Identify your Figma Version

Step 2: Did a 404 error or memory alert come up on the Web Browser Version?
Yes:
404 Error:
Check to make sure you have the correct URL.
Refresh the page.
Memory Alert:
Reduce the overall memory of the Figma file.
Check your system settings and clear up space for any files you no longer need.
No:
Close any extra tabs you have open.
Refresh the page.
Close the browser window then reopen a new browser window.
Step 3: Internet Connection Check
Ensure your internet connection is stable. Slower internet bandwidth can affect Figma’s functionality.
Step 4: For Desktop App Version, are you able to click on any of the buttons or menus within the app?
Yes:
Go to the Main Menu.
Navigate to Plugins and/or Preferences.
Disable extra features you are not using.
Close any additional applications you may have running in the background.
No:
Close any additional applications running in the background.
Force-quit Figma.
Restart Figma.
