At Merit America, the entire program is designed to prepare you for a new career.
The formal Job Success phase begins once you’ve completed your technical training and typically lasts 6 weeks. During this time, you’ll continue working with your career coach, who will provide personalized support to help you navigate your job search with clarity and confidence.
In the Job Success phase, you’ll focus on:
Developing a strategic job search plan and optimizing your job board profiles to boost visibility
Using top-tier resources and tools to research companies, connect with recruiters, tailor your materials, prepare for interviews, and negotiate offers
Addressing challenges like motivation, imposter syndrome, age, neurodiversity, financial and legal barriers, and workplace dynamics around gender and sexuality
Learning how to effectively use AI tools to support and accelerate your job search
If you're still seeking employment after the initial 6-week phase, you can continue receiving personalized support from an alumni career coach, who will help you keep momentum and stay on track toward your goals.
