Adding Skills from Coursera to LinkedIn

Navigate to Coursera

As you progress through the program, you may want to consider ways to make yourself as visible as possible to potential employers looking to fill tech positions.

You can add the skills you learn in Coursera to your LinkedIn profile to help give you that visibility.

  • Locate the skill tags by navigating to Coursera and sign in.

  • Once you've signed in, select the arrow next to your name in the top right-hand corner of the site.

  • In the dropdown select "Achievements"

Select Completed Course

From the "Achievements" page, select the title of the completed course.

Locate Skill Tags

Scroll down to the "Skills You Will Gain" section on the left side of the page.

The tags in this section will be what you add in your skills section in LinkedIn.

Navigate to LinkedIn

Once signed into linked in, select the arrow under your photo in the navigation bar.

Chose "View Profile"

Add Your Skills

  • Scroll down the page until you find the "skills" section.

  • Select the "+" sign on the right side of the skills section.

  • Add skill tags in the pop up box and select save.
