Yes, Merit America is legit!

We understand the hesitation. In an era of quick-fix promises, it’s important to do your research—and we’re here to help.

Merit America is a national nonprofit dedicated to helping low-wage workers transition into in-demand, skills-based careers. We’ve served over 15,000 learners nationwide, with an 80% program completion rate. According to our 2024 Alumni Wage Analysis, alumni with outcome data reported an average annual wage gain of $21,000 three or more months after program completion, with average salaries increasing from $27,800 pre-program to $48,500 post-program. Our success rate is 75%, with nearly 3 out of 4 alumni with outcome data reporting a positive career change and/or an above-threshold salary. More than 500 companies have hired Merit America alumni.

Our success comes from combining industry-recognized curricula, such as Google’s, with rigorous technical training and personalized career coaching to support your transition into a new career.

We achieve this by combining industry-recognized, third-party curriculum from Google and personalized career coaching to support your transition into a new career.

If you're looking for a fast, flexible path to a technical career and higher earning potential, Merit America is for you!
